In his year, Mearas was regarded as one of the top sires and only produced a very select number of runners. In his racing career, Mearas won the listed Ming Dynasty (1400m) followed by the Group 3 Spring Champion Stakes. In the past 6 years, he has a Stakes Winners to runners ratio of 12.5%.

Out of a mare by powerful sire KREISLER. His record as a sire is proven, having 2 x Group 1 winners, 1 x Group 2 winner, 4 x Group 3 winners and 4 x Listed winners including New Zealand champions Fritz, Prussian Blue and Durzetta.
